A deposit slip isn't showing up

Payments3 min read

A customer says they paid, but the slip isn't in Pending Deposit Reviews. It is almost always one of three things — work down this list in order.

  1. 1

Check how old the appointment is

The Pending Deposit Reviews card only lists bookings whose appointment time is still ahead or was within the last 24 hours. Once an appointment is more than a day in the past it drops off the card on purpose, so the list stays short. The slip is not lost. Pending Deposit Reviews

  2. 2

Open the booking to see its slip

Go to Calendar and open the appointment. The slip is attached to the booking itself, so you can view it there at any time — including bookings that have already left the dashboard card.

  3. 3

The customer may never have uploaded one

On the booking page the upload button sits below the QR code. Customers who switch to their banking app to transfer often come back and close the page without attaching anything. A booking with no slip has nothing to review, so it never reaches the card at all.

  4. 4

Ask for the slip, then settle it yourself

Message the customer for a screenshot of the transfer. Once you can see the money arrived, open the appointment and record the payment yourself.

  5. 5

Or it may already be reviewed

Confirming or rejecting a slip removes it from the list. A rejected one stays in the amber banner until you tap Mark refunded and say whether the customer got their money back. Mark refunded

The reviews list updates by itself when a new slip arrives — you never need to refresh the page to see one.
