Make same-day bookings wait for your confirmation
On a busy day you can have every online booking made FOR TODAY arrive as a request you accept or decline, instead of dropping straight onto your calendar.

Turn it on
Go to Settings, open the Appointments tab, and switch on 'Same-day bookings need my confirmation'. It stays on until you switch it off. This is a Pro feature. Same-day bookings need my confirmation

What changes for customers booking today
Someone booking online for TODAY is told their request was sent and that you will confirm shortly. They are never told the booking is confirmed, and no reminders are scheduled yet.

What does not change
Bookings for tomorrow or any later day behave exactly as before. So do bookings you or your staff make from the dashboard or the app.

Answer the request
A 'Needs confirmation' box appears at the top of your dashboard and in the app, and you get an alert. Tap Confirm or Decline. The time slot is held for you while you decide, so nobody else can take it. Needs confirmation

After you answer
Confirm and the customer gets the normal confirmation message and their reminders. Decline and they are asked to pick another time. Either way they hear back from you.
